We invite researchers to participate in the Special Issue dedicated to the celebration of 15 years since the birth of The FoodOmics Conference, on 28 May 2009 in Cesena (Italy). You won’t want to miss the opportunity to be included among the scientists contributing to this Foodomics’ collection.

  • Open Access: free for readers, with article processing charges (APC) paid by authors or their institutions.
  • Journal Rank: JCR – Q1 (Food Science & Technology) / CiteScore – Q1 (Health Professions (miscellaneous)).

All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website.

Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. Foods is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.

The Article Processing Charge (APC) for publication in this open access journal is 2900 CHF (Swiss Francs), about 3100 EUR.

Abstract submission for poster and oral selection

Abstracts must be sent by e-mail as attached files (Microsoft Word for IBM-compatible) to the secretariat of Foodomics 2024: foodomics@unibo.it

Abstracts may include: Tables, Schemes, Figures and References (within the maximum space limit). To maintain a consistent appearance, all abstracts must be prepared by using the template (downlad here).

Abstracts will be considered for acceptance and included in the Abstract Book only if the presenting Author pays the registration fee.

No more than 2 abstracts can be presented by the same Author.

Abstracts aiming at being selected for oral presentation must be submitted before January 14th, 2024.

Poster Size

Poster size must be 70 cm (width) x 100 cm (height) and the format must be vertical (portrait)

Hand your poster to the Secretariat during “Reception of Registered Participants” on February14th, they personally provide to position them with fixation material.
