Cesena can be easily reached from any destination in Italy and abroad using whatever vehicle
By plane: there are several flights arriving at Bologna Guglielmo Marconi airport (code: BLQ) (Marconi Airport). From the airport you can reach the Central Railway Station by taxi or by the monorail service (Marconi Express). The latter has rides every 15 minutes, from 5.40 am to midnight and it takes about 15 min to reach the Central station. Ticket fare is 11 €. From Central Station you can catch a train to Cesena.
By train: there are direct local or long distance trains to Cesena from the main Italian railway stations, including Bologna. Info regarding the time and routes of the trains are available on the site http://www.trenitalia.it.
By car: Cesena is well connected with the rest of Italy, thanks to a very good motorway network. The city is positioned along the A14 motorway which connects it to Bologna and Milan going North and to Bari going South. The City has two motorway exits: Cesena Nord and Cesena.
